Madison County Fall Crawl
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH, 2024
The Madison County Fall Crawl is a small, local event near Winterset, IA that takes place on the last Sunday in September.
Take a drive with friends around Madison County to see 15 small local businesses in their rural setting. There are a few stops along the crawl that have normal business hours where you can grab a glass of coffee, wine, cider, beer, or a bite to eat.
The fall crawl is a free event for the entire family, with lots of fun things to do with 75+ vendors. Earliest businesses opening at 9am. Varies by stop location.
Giving Back
The Iowa was opened as a movie theater back in 1914 as a “first class movie show”. The Theater since then has gone through many changes, owners and upgrades and now hosts premier movies every week. The theater also provides a local production stage for fun theater acts.
They offer Farmer’s Best real butter popcorn, candy, pop, local wines, brews and hot local coffee during shows.

Free to attend. You can start at ANY location.
Suggested starting point: Pammel Park Coffee Co.for a cup of freshly roasted coffee.
As a general rule of thumb:
Businesses within Winterset and to the South and West, open at 9 am.
Businesses to the East and North of Winterset are open 10/11+ am.
